One-click install
Opens your editor and pre-fills the config. Your editor will ask before adding it.
How to install Commercializer in your AI client
Setup for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, Cline and VS Code — copy-paste ready.
How to install Commercializer in Claude CodeAnthropic's agentic CLI
Add the server
bashclaude mcp add --transport http commercializer https://commercializer.ai/mcpVerify it's connected
bashclaude mcp listSharing it with your team?
Add `--scope project` to write it to .mcp.json in the repository root, which you can commit (with the secrets left as environment variables).
Use it in a session
Ask Claude to use the tools this server exposes. It discovers them automatically.
How to install Commercializer in Claude DesktopDesktop app (MCP config)
Open your MCP config
macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json · Windows: %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json
Add this server
json{ "mcpServers": { "commercializer": { "command": "npx", "args": [ "-y", "mcp-remote", "https://commercializer.ai/mcp" ] } } }Why the wrapper?
This is a remote (HTTP) server and Claude Desktop only launches local processes, so mcp-remote proxies the connection. It will open a browser window if the server needs OAuth.
Restart Claude Desktop
The tools appear under the 🔌 menu once the app reloads.
How to install Commercializer in CursorAI-first code editor
Create / edit .cursor/mcp.json in your project
json{ "mcpServers": { "commercializer": { "url": "https://commercializer.ai/mcp" } } }Enable it
Cursor Settings → MCP → toggle the server on. Tools become available to the Composer/Agent.
How to install Commercializer in Codex CLIOpenAI coding agent
Add to ~/.codex/config.toml
toml[mcp_servers.commercializer] command = "npx" args = ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://commercializer.ai/mcp"]Why the wrapper?
Codex runs MCP servers as local processes, so mcp-remote bridges this HTTP endpoint to stdio.
Run Codex
Codex loads MCP servers from config.toml on startup and exposes their tools to the agent.
How to install Commercializer in WindsurfCodeium's agentic IDE
Edit ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json
json{ "mcpServers": { "commercializer": { "serverUrl": "https://commercializer.ai/mcp" } } }Reload
Windsurf → Cascade → refresh MCP servers. Cascade can now call the tools.
How to install Commercializer in ClineVS Code autonomous agent
Open Cline → MCP Servers → Configure
Adds to cline_mcp_settings.json.
Add the server
json{ "mcpServers": { "commercializer": { "type": "streamableHttp", "url": "https://commercializer.ai/mcp" } } }
How to install Commercializer in VS CodeCopilot / MCP support
Create .vscode/mcp.json
json{ "servers": { "commercializer": { "type": "http", "url": "https://commercializer.ai/mcp" } } }Start it
VS Code shows a ▶ Start action above the server entry. Agent mode (Copilot Chat) can then use the tools.
What tools does Commercializer expose?
This server requires credentials before it will list its tools, so we cannot enumerate them here. Connect it in your client to see what it offers.
What the code can do
This is a remote server — nothing is installed or run on your machine, so there is no local code to analyze. What it can reach is described above: your requests go to the provider's host.

Signals gathered from the source repo and package registry — not a safety verdict.
What it can reach
- Third-party hosted service — Your requests and any data in them are sent to commercializer.ai.
- No local execution — Nothing is installed or run on your machine.
- Last commit today — Actively maintained.
- Repository created 2 days ago — Very new project with little track record yet.
- 0 GitHub stars — Very little community usage so far.
- No license declared — Without a license the code is not legally reusable in a commercial project.

Full READMECommercializer
Commercial strategy for medical device and life-science companies, read from the governed registers. Bring it into the AI assistant you already use.
Connected, your assistant works on your company the way the Commercializer app does. It reads the governed registers (FDA clearances and approvals, EU and other registrations, recalls and adverse event reports, registered trials, patents, payments to clinicians, public tenders and company filings), cites every record it uses, keeps the findings worth remembering on your company's profile, and runs workflows that deliver a pathway decision, a submission checklist, a market entry plan, a competitor footprint or a company brief, asking you at each decision.
Everything it does happens as you, in the workspace you choose, and is listed on the MCP page of your workspace under its name, where you can disconnect it at any time.
- The server:
https://commercializer.ai/mcp(Streamable HTTP; sign in with OAuth 2.1, or use an API key). - This repository: `github.com/Commercializer-ai/commercializer-mcp`, the plugin and a guide for every assistant.
- The page: commercializer.ai/product/assistant.
- Let the assistant set itself up: give it `https://commercializer.ai/mcp/llms.txt`. It says how to connect from
each client, how to sign in, how to work the workspace and every tool.

Signed in to Commercializer, the MCP page of your workspace walks the same steps for the assistant you pick and makes an API key when you need one.
The plugin
This repository is also a plugin: the server, a skill that teaches the assistant how to work the workspace (read before stating a figure, cite every read, keep findings, use the tools, run workflows), and five skills you can call by name.
| Skill | What it does | | --- | --- | | ask | Hands a question to Commercializer's agent; the answer comes back with every record cited. | | tool | Answers one question with a tool, every row with its sources. | | run | Starts a workflow on your company and follows it, answering each checkpoint with you. | | workspace | Your company and its competitors, what is kept, the watches running, the workflows your plan runs. | | setup | Connects and checks it works. |
It follows the open Agent Plugins format (plugin.json, mcp.json, skills/) that ChatGPT, Codex, GitHub Copilot, VS Code and Cursor read, and carries a Claude Code manifest (.claude-plugin/) beside it.
