Why the wrapper?
This is a remote (HTTP) server and Claude Desktop only launches local processes, so mcp-remote proxies the connection. It will open a browser window if the server needs OAuth.
Restart Claude Desktop
The tools appear under the 🔌 menu once the app reloads.

create_documentUse this to add a file the person gave you to a fax: a PDF, or a photo saved as JPG, PNG, WEBP or HEIC, up to 20 MB. Call it once per file, before create_fax, in the order the files should be faxed. It returns document_id, upload_url and upload_headers: PUT the file's exact bytes to upload_url with those headers within 5 minutes, then pass document_id to create_fax within an hour. It creates the fax and returns status_url, the page where the person checks the fax number, documents and price, and pays to send it. Nothing is sent or charged until they pay there. Faxette plugins

Send a fax from Claude Code or Codex. The plugin adds Faxette's two MCP servers, one for each copy of Faxette, and a send-a-fax skill: your agent finds the official fax number, uploads your files and gives you a link to Faxette's status page, where you check the fax and pay to send it. You pay per fax, with no subscription. You don't need an account; if you have one, sign in when your app asks and your faxes stay in it.

Faxette faxes to the US, Canada, the EU, the UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Montenegro, Ukraine and the Isle of Man.

Install

Claude Code:

Then open /plugins in Codex, switch to the Faxette marketplace and install Faxette. Start a new session to use it.
