## Install

### How to install Zadely AI Browser Games in Claude Code

1. Add the server

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http games https://zadely.com/mcp/
```

2. Verify it's connected

```bash
claude mcp list
```

3. Sharing it with your team?

   Add `--scope project` to write it to .mcp.json in the repository root, which you can commit (with the secrets left as environment variables).

4. Use it in a session

   Ask Claude to use the tools this server exposes (e.g. search_games, get_game, list_trending). It discovers them automatically.

### How to install Zadely AI Browser Games in Claude Desktop

1. Open your MCP config

   macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json · Windows: %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json

2. Add this server

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "games": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": [
        "-y",
        "mcp-remote",
        "https://zadely.com/mcp/"
      ]
    }
  }
}
```

3. Why the wrapper?

   This is a remote (HTTP) server and Claude Desktop only launches local processes, so mcp-remote proxies the connection. It will open a browser window if the server needs OAuth.

4. Restart Claude Desktop

   The tools appear under the 🔌 menu once the app reloads.

### How to install Zadely AI Browser Games in Cursor

1. Create / edit .cursor/mcp.json in your project

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "games": {
      "url": "https://zadely.com/mcp/"
    }
  }
}
```

2. Enable it

   Cursor Settings → MCP → toggle the server on. Tools become available to the Composer/Agent.

### How to install Zadely AI Browser Games in Codex CLI

1. Add to ~/.codex/config.toml

```toml
[mcp_servers.games]
command = "npx"
args = ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://zadely.com/mcp/"]
```

2. Why the wrapper?

   Codex runs MCP servers as local processes, so mcp-remote bridges this HTTP endpoint to stdio.

3. Run Codex

   Codex loads MCP servers from config.toml on startup and exposes their tools to the agent.

  }
}
```
   VS Code shows a ▶ Start action above the server entry. Agent mode (Copilot Chat) can then use the tools.
## Tools
- `search_games` — Search Zadely’s AI-made browser games by text, genre, credited AI tool, engine, multiplayer, or phone support. Classic ports of commercial games are not searchable here. Each result includes pageUrl (cite this) and playUrl (where the creator hosts the game), plus credited AI tools and engine.
- `get_game` — Look up one AI-made browser game by its Zadely slug, the last segment of https://zadely.com/games/<slug>/. Returns the description, credited AI tools and engine, creator, how it was made (with sources), controls, and both pageUrl and playUrl. Unknown slugs and classic ports return an error and no play link.
- `list_trending` — List AI-made browser games Zadely currently marks as trending, most in demand first. Classic ports are omitted even when the public trending page includes them. Each result includes pageUrl, playUrl, credited AI tools, and engine.
- `random_game` — Pick one AI-made browser game at random. Optional genre, AI tool, engine, multiplayer, and phone filters use the same matching rules as search_games. The result includes pageUrl, playUrl, credited AI tools, and engine.
- `list_jam_winners` — List AI-made jam winners and category awardees tracked by Zadely, including Vibe Jam and the AI Browser Game Jam. Filter with a jam name such as "Vibe Jam 2026", "vibe-jam-2025", or "AI Browser Game Jam". Each row includes the award, credited AI tools, engine, pageUrl, and playUrl.
