MCP tool
browser_screenshot
browser_screenshot is a tool name used by 3 different MCP servers. They are not necessarily the same tool — here is what each one does.
3 MCP servers expose a browser_screenshot tool: Agent360 Browser MCP, BrowserAttach and agent-browser. Their input schemas differ, so compare them below before picking one.
Servers exposing browser_screenshot
From the publisher:Screenshot via Chrome Debugger (works even when tab isn't focused; a covered window answers `window-covered`)
Install Agent360 Browser MCP →From the publisher:Viewport or full-page PNG with coordinate mapping
Install BrowserAttach →From the publisher:Use for: visual verification — layout, images, charts, CAPTCHA presence, or evidence of page state. Returns a PNG image (JPEG if the PNG exceeds 2.5MB). Don't use when: you only need the page's content or structure — browser_extract and browser_snapshot are far cheaper in tokens.
Install agent-browser →Parameter Type Description session_id*string Session ID. Reuse the same ID to keep cookies, login state and page position across calls; a new ID starts a fresh browser. full_pageboolean Capture the full scrollable page instead of the viewport.
